Our women’s conferences are 3-day events led by evangelist Elaine Barton during which women from the villages we minister to, and surrounding areas, are poured into and taught of the loving God that created them.

The attendees are fed and housed for the duration of the conference, many of them traveling from great distances to attend. It is an opportunity for us to share God’s love and show the women of these villages that they are fearfully and wonderfully made - perfect masterpieces of God’s own design and they should be cherished as such. Our women’s conferences often see many salvations and healings as many women join us who are suffering both mentally and physically. It is our joy to offer these women the love of Christ and to show them their true worth as children of God.

Amahle Found Hope!

Every day Amahle felt hopeless. She knew that soon her condition would be apparent to everyone. What should have been a time of expectation and joy was a time of depression. The feelings of shame and fear were overwhelming.

Amahle was single and pregnant. In her village of Numan in Nigeria, this happened often.

Abortion seemed like such an easy answer.

Amahle heard that there would be a meeting specifically for women in her village. She wondered if it would be a welcoming place? With some apprehension, at the right time, she made her way to the meeting.

What Amahle experienced that night was powerful. There were a lot of women at the meeting, over 1,000. After a time of exuberant and spirited singing, the leaders introduced a special speaker. Her name was Elaine.

As Elaine spoke, Amahle felt strangely drawn to her. A tremendous presence warmed her broken heart. The stranger assured her and all the women there that there was a God and He loved them. She talked about Jesus and invited all the women to receive His love.

The woman invited all those who felt this presence to come forward. Amahle quickly responded with tears in her eyes. She was one of many who were anxious to receive a new life that night. For the first time in her life, she prayed and felt like Jesus heard her prayer.

At the front, as all the women wept and rejoiced, Elaine called Amahle over and gave her special words of encouragement from Jesus. It was a time of great rejoicing.

Filled with hope, Amahle decided against aborting the baby. In a few months, she birthed a baby boy.

Proximo Marketing Strategies

“As a woman-owned and operated organization, with a heart for loving, serving and encouraging other women in our community, this partnership made perfect sense. All women need reminding of WHO they are and WHOSE they are. Every one of us! By partnering with WWM this year, my team and I (and each of the clients that trust and choose us!) are reaching into countries we may not be able to physically walk into in this season of life, and reminding them of just that! The women of Proximo Marketing Strategies are honored to grab hands with Elaine, Bruce, and the WWM team, to carry love and light into all corners of the world!”
